Rosenbauer – ET – Efficient Technology

Municipal firefighting and rescue vehicles up to 20 tons.
Efficient. Versatile. Safe

3 equipment lines

The ET product line offers the right solution for every requirement: From largely standardized variants with coordinated options and reduced complexity to superstructures with variable height, width, and length. The starting point is three
equipment lines

ECONOMIC

The entry-level version features a freestanding bridge between the axles
and a fixed step behind the rear axle

COMFORT

For the safe separation of drinking and non-drinking water in hydrant-feed mode, a DIN-compliant free-tank inlet is optionally available. Due to the low height of the 4×2 chassis, even the upper areas can be reached without a hinged step. There is also a fixed step behind the rear axle

PREMIUM

The top-of-the-line model features full height storage compartments not only between the axles but also in the rear section. A combination of roller shutters and equipment storage compartments ensures optimal accessibility. This is particularly convenient in 4×4 chassis with a greater overall height. A wing-mounted access plate for the rear axle is also available

Standardization combined with versatility

A high degree of standardization of Efficient Technology municipal vehicles reduces costs without sacrificing essential functionality. At the same time, the modular design and wide range of components enable tailoring the configuration to any application. This makes the ET an efficient all-rounder

Enormous flexibility.
For chassis and cab.

Can be built on virtually any chassis. For standard ET vehicles, the weight class ranges from 12 to 20 tons. Chassis options include the MAN TGM, Mercedes-Benz Atego, Volvo FMX, and Scania P-series, available with or without the original double cab. However, the flexibility of the body design also makes it possible to mount it on virtually any other chassis, such as those from Hino or Isuzu. The Rosenbauer Commander chassis is another possibility

Selection of cab variants

Typically, the ET series is built on a chassis without a double cab or with an original chassis double cab. However, due to the modularity of the construction concept, the Rosenbauer proCAB can also be used as a crew cab

Powerful extinguishing technology.
Proven quality.

High-end pump units

The ET uses exactly the same pump units as other Rosenbauer vehicles: normal-pressure pumps with delivery rates up to 4,500 l/min at 10 bar, or combined normal-high-pressure pumps with an additional 400 l/min delivery rate at 40 bar. The water tanks are made of polypropylene (PP) and have a capacity of up to 5,000 liters.

Easy-to-use turret

The RM24 is a manual turret that provides flow rates of up to 3,000 l/min at 10 bar. It is characterized by its ease of use, a maximum spray range of 80 meters, and easy adjustment of the flow rate and spray pattern. The optionally available foam branch pipe with deflector can be either fixed or swivel-mounted.

Various foam systems

FIXMIX 2.0, This foam premixing system, which can be controlled manually or electronically (via RBC LCS), is integrated into the pump, and offers both fixed and steplessly adjustable mixing rates.

High-pressure FIXMIX, This high-pressure proportioning system works mechanically, is maintenance-free, and can be fully integrated into NH series pumps. It allows foam on the high-pressure side and water on the normal-pressure side simultaneously. One of four mixing ratios is available (0.5%, 1%, 3% or 6%).

RFC Admix Variomatic, This electrically driven direct injection proportioning system allows for stepless adjustment of the proportioning rate. The foaming agent is injected directly at the discharge outlet, making the system easier to clean after use

Easy to use.
Working safely.

Two control options.
In the basic version, a hard-wired electronic system ensures reliable performance. An optional, comprehensive CAN bus system offers maximum convenience. The entire control process is then carried out via the RBC Logic Control System, whose logical structure and clear display of extinguishing agent levels and operating conditions significantly simplify the work. Operation is possible from both the cockpit and the pump dashboard

Smart storage for maximum safety, speed, and ergonomics

The Rosenbauer COMFORT stowage system ensures that equipment is securely fastened during emergency calls and can be quickly and ergonomically removed at the scene.

Rosenbauer pull-out extensions and rotating platforms enable effortless removal of heavy equipment, such as portable fire pumps or generators
weighing up to 250 kg.

Modern ambient and equipment room lighting, combined with a light pole, create working conditions similar to natural daylight. The LED light is bright, virtually glare-free, and highly energy-efficient.
