Rescue operations depend on the reliability, speed, and flexibility of the operational equipment. Fire fighters are constantly confronted with new local conditions and operational challenges. Rosenbauer works closely with rescue personnel and draws upon their experience to continuously develop products that ensure the best possible safety
The modern 5-person cage, with a live load of 500 kg and 300 kg stretcher support load, is equipped with a 2-pin socket for a stretcher (placed directly on the floor of the cage) as well as a wheelchair transport option. It has a removable multifunctional column, an integrated water supply with optimized flow, and an attachable turret that can remain in the cage even in idle position.
The L32A- XS enters a new dimension of maneuverability: the XS 2.0. Just like a pocket knife, the pivot point of the ladder set folds the ladder inward. The ladder sections are thus opened by three rungs. Thus the articulation can be angled immediately despite the swivel arm that is extended by 900 mm.
Without additional drives, the L32A-XS has a cage boom length of up to 4.60 m. Therefore, by optimizing the angle from the cage to the swivel arm, the minimal action radius is reduced to a previously unachievable 6.6 m, measured from the center of the pivot mounting to the top edge of the cage.

With strong inclination to stable leveling
The automatic leveling system holds the ladder set in horizontal position up to an inclination angle of 10° in the longitudinal or transverse direction of the vehicle.
If the automatic leveling system is not sufficient for an operation, it can be expanded by an inclination angle of up to 14° with help of the outrigger.

Every Rosenbauer aerial ladder is equipped with a hydraulic vertical/horizontal outrigger for stability. All support move ments in the horizontal and vertical direction are continuously controllable within the maximum support range.

The outrigger in the contour makes it is possible to extend the telescopic boom by the full extension length and rotate 360° even in narrow 3 m operational situations.
Optimal visibility.
